Pip is a graphic artist based in Brisbane Australia. She draws, paints and illustrates beautiful pictures that are quickly being snapped up by her admirers. Formerly restrained within an office in the advertising industry Pip recently made a giant leap of faith and left the rat race to follow her heart and true passion. You can follow her work and inspirations on her blog *pipshining.blogspot.com* as Pip is guaranteed to be a huge success.
I first got to know Pip's work on the fabulous website of fellow blogger, Anna Spiro. Anna's blog Absolutely Beautiful Things is a blogger must, if you aren't following her you are missing out. Anna has a beautiful interior design store and thriving design business in Brisbane called Black and Spiro where she debuted Pip's works.
Pip's work are vibrant and so textural that they can only be described as a visceral experience. Her pieces of jewellery are exquisite but its her paintings of flora and fauna that I'm particularly taken with. They are reminiscent of lithographs from the Victorian era that I love so much.
If you are lucky enough to see one of of Pip's pieces I would snatch it up asap. Next time we get back to Brisbane I will be on the lookout!
