For the love of Edmonton

A lot of times, people think that the end of summer means the end of activities to do, but this is SO not true. Edmonton is great in that it hosts all sorts of fun, family friendly events year round.

So because I thought a few of you may be dreading the colder months, I put together a list of some exciting things to keep your festival spirit up! 

When: Saturday, September 26th. 7PM-4AM
Where: Throughout downtown Edmonton. Check out the map. 
What: Nuit Blanche is a free one night event of beautiful contemporary art. Family friendly! 

Monster Mini Golf

To get you in the Halloween spirit!

When: Mondays-Sundays
Where: 3414 Gateway Boulevard 
What: An indoor 18-hole mini golf course 

Edmonton Ghost Tours

When: Varied throughout the week
Where: Old Strathcona & Garneau neighbourhood 
What: Spooky ghost tours! 

Snowshoeing at the Strathcona Wilderness Centre 

Ok, I know there isn't snow quuuuuite yet - but doesn't this seem fun?


When: Daily 9:00AM-4:30PM
Where: Strathcona Wilderness Centre
What: Snowshoeing and Cross-Country Skiing 

RGE RD Gourmet Dinner 

When: November 8th
Where: Prairie Gardens 
What: A gourmet meal full of roots, shoots, and winter squash, brought to you by the amazing chefs from RGE RD

Festival of Trees

A classic! 

When: November 26th-29th
Where: Shaw Conference Centre
What: Beautiful Christmas trees and family friendly activities, all in support for the University Hospital Foundation
